248 thousand hectares have been cleared of mines in the liberated territories.
“Elchi” reports that this was reflected in the “Report on the Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025,” which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly).
It was noted that in 2025, work continued rapidly towards the reconstruction, restoration, and reintegration of the liberated territories into the country’s economy, and extensive mine clearance operations were carried out. In 2025, 69205.7 hectares, and a total of 248997.5 hectares in the liberated territories, were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance by December 30, 2025.
