2309 citizens from 73 countries evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan to date

A total of 2,309 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan from 8:00 AM on February 28 to 10:00 AM on March 13.

According to “Elchi”, 403 of those evacuated are citizens of Azerbaijan.

At the same time, 686 citizens of China, 294 of Russia, 178 of Tajikistan, 140 of Pakistan, 68 of Indonesia, 57 of Oman, 44 of Italy, 33 of Iran, 26 of Spain, 25 of Algeria, 18 of Saudi Arabia, 17 of Japan, 16 each of France and Germany, 13 each of Georgia, Uzbekistan and Nigeria, 12 each of Hungary and Poland, 11 each of Switzerland and Mexico, and 10 each of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Canada have been evacuated to Azerbaijan.

Additionally, among those evacuated are 9 citizens of Great Britain, 8 of Brazil, 6 each of UAE, Slovakia, Belgium and Romania, 5 each of Serbia, Czech Republic, Afghanistan, Austria, Greece and India, 4 each of Jordan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Bahrain, USA, Finland and Netherlands, 3 each of Qatar, Philippines, Croatia, Australia and Denmark, and 2 each of Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, Sudan, Cyprus and Slovenia.

1 citizen each from Tunisia, South Africa, Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt, and Belize have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.

It should be recalled that the US and Israel began military operations against Iran on February 28. As a result, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking officials were killed. Following this, Iran began striking targets it had identified in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, and Cyprus, where military bases of the US and its allies are located, in addition to Israel.
