“We are not talking to Orban” – Zelensky

From Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he had not contacted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, but had allegedly conveyed an invitation to visit Ukraine through Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

“Elchi” reports that in an interview with Politico, Zelensky stated that he had invited Fico to visit the country and sent an invitation to Orban through him.

According to the leader of the Kyiv regime, the meeting could have taken place in either a bilateral or trilateral format.

“We are not talking to Orban. I invited him, our country invited him. By the way, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, we spoke on the phone, I also invited him, and he said, yes, we need to set a date. And then he disappeared. But the Prime Minister of Hungary, that is, I also invited him to Ukraine.”

In the interview, Zelensky also commented on Hungary and Slovakia blocking the EU’s 90 billion euro loan in response to Kyiv stopping oil transit. He wanted to call this stance “blackmail,” but he couldn’t recall the English term for it.
