The Council of the UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) will hold an extraordinary session to discuss the conflict in the Middle East.
“Elchi” reports that TASS, citing a statement from the organization’s press service, has released information on this matter.
“The International Maritime Organization will hold an extraordinary session of its Council to discuss the impact of the situation on shipping and seafarers in the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Oman, and the Persian Gulf, especially in the Strait of Hormuz. The session will be held on March 18-19 at IMO Headquarters in London, under the chairmanship of Spanish representative Victor Jimenez,” the statement said.
