Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has condemned Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated in the Turkish MFA’s statement.
“We strongly condemn the attacks that caused the displacement of approximately one million people,” the statement said, adding that these attacks violate international humanitarian law.
The Turkish MFA’s statement emphasized that Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip should not be allowed to be repeated in Lebanon:
“Amidst Israel’s attacks threatening Lebanon’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, we will continue to stand in solidarity with the Lebanese people and state.”
