The Spanish government has estimated the total volume of financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine since 2022 at 17 billion euros.
“Elchi” reports that Spain’s “El Pais” newspaper wrote about this.
It is noted that 16.2 billion euros of the total amount corresponds to indirect obligations through the European Union. Direct obligations in the form of guarantees are estimated at 641 million euros. Another 110 million euros reflects the volume of weapons sold to Ukraine by Spanish companies from January 2024 to June 2025.
In addition, the newspaper notes that the used equipment worth 384 million euros provided by the Spanish Armed Forces to Kyiv should also be taken into account. Among other items, Ukraine received Leopard 2A4 tanks, missiles, and launchers.
In February, the amount of aid sent by Germany to Kyiv was announced. German Cabinet spokesman Stefan Kornelius stated during a briefing that Berlin is the largest bilateral donor to Ukraine, having spent 94 billion euros since 2022.
