Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Transitional Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan sent a letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Elchi” reports that the letter states:
“Your Excellency.
We followed with concern the reports of Azerbaijani territory being targeted with unmanned aerial vehicles from Iranian territory and the resulting violation of your airspace. This is a clear violation of the principles of international law and the rules of respect for the sovereignty of states.
On behalf of the leadership, government, and people of the Republic of Sudan, we express our full solidarity with the fraternal Republic of Azerbaijan, and we declare our support for all legitimate steps you take to protect your country’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
We pray to Almighty Allah to protect the Republic of Azerbaijan and grant it security and stability.
To Your Excellency, we convey our highest esteem and respect.”
