AFFA Disciplinary Committee fined “Neftçi” 23,000 manats.
“Elchi” reports that this decision was made at the committee’s meeting.
The Baku club was fined 15,000 manats for its fans displaying an offensive banner during the “Neftçi” – “Turan Tovuz” match in the XXIII round of the Misli Premier League. In the same match, due to the home team’s supporters massively uttering abusive expressions towards the referees and this incident recurring for the 5th time this season, the club was additionally fined 8,000 manats.
Furthermore, in the “Shamakhi” – “Imishli” match of the round, the visiting team incurred a 700 manat penalty because 5 players in their squad received yellow cards.
The “Kəpəz” team experienced the same fate. The Ganja club will have to pay 700 manats because 4 players from their team received yellow cards in the match against “Zirə”.
