At today’s meeting of the Toponymy Commission under the Milli Majlis (National Assembly), the issue regarding the renaming of three villages in the territory of Quba district was discussed.
“Elchi” reports that at the meeting, the renaming of Vladimirovka, which is part of the Vladimirovka rural administrative-territorial district in Quba district, as well as Alekseyevka and Timiryazev settlements, which are part of the Alekseyevka rural administrative-territorial district, was discussed.
As a result of the discussions, a decision was made for the names of the villages to be, respectively, Vladimirovka Elbir, Alekseyevka Chinarly, and Timiryazev village to be Bahrali.
As a result of the discussions, the issue was proposed to the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
