Iranian state television, citing the IRGC, reported that “The EXPRESS ROME ship, sailing under the Liberian flag and belonging to the Zionist regime, was struck by Iranian missiles and stopped on the spot this morning after disregarding the warnings of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The container ship MAYUREE NAREE was also struck by Iranian forces a few hours ago after disregarding the warnings of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and attempting to illegally pass through the Strait of Hormuz.”
