Antonio Costa, President of the European Council, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Martyrs’ Alley on March 11.
“Elchi” reports that the guest expressed his respect for the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives and became martyrs in the struggle for Azerbaijan’s independence and territorial integrity, and laid a wreath in front of the “Eternal Flame” monument.
A. Costa, who observed the panorama of the Azerbaijani capital from the highest point of Baku, was informed about the history of the Martyrs’ Alley and the landscaping and construction work carried out in our city.
