The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a statement regarding the missile attack against the territory of the Republic of Turkey.
This information was provided to “Elchi” by the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense.
“We strongly condemn the missile attack carried out against the territory of the Republic of Turkey and neutralized over Gaziantep. Such actions pose a serious threat to regional peace and security and are unacceptable.
We express our full solidarity with the fraternal Republic of Turkey. We support the efforts of the Turkish government to ensure the security of its population and territory.
Azerbaijan firmly stands with Turkey,” the statement noted.
It should be noted that a ballistic projectile launched from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO’s air and missile defense assets deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
