Iran’s Ambassador in Ankara, Mohammad Hassan Habibollazadeh, has been summoned to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding a new missile attack.
“Elchi” reports that NTV channel published information on this matter, citing sources in the ministry.
The ambassador was informed of Ankara’s concern regarding the ballistic missile shot down after entering Turkish airspace, and an explanation was demanded from Tehran.
It should be noted that on March 9, the Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that a new missile launched from Iran was shot down in the country’s airspace. It was shot down by NATO air and missile defense forces in the Eastern Mediterranean. The missile fragments fell into Gaziantep province in southeastern Turkey; no one was injured as a result of the incident.
