A total of 2,057 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan from 8:00 AM on February 28 to 6:00 PM on March 9.
According to information obtained by “Elchi”, 362 of those evacuated are citizens of Azerbaijan.
Additionally, 594 Chinese, 291 Russian, 174 Tajik, 137 Pakistani, 57 Omani, 44 Italian, 32 Indonesian, 26 Spanish, 29 Iranian, 18 Saudi Arabian, 17 Japanese, 16 French, 15 German, 13 Georgian, 12 Hungarian, 12 Uzbek, 12 Polish, 10 Bulgarian, 10 Democratic Republic of Congo, 10 Nigerian, 8 Brazilian, 9 British, 8 Kazakh, 10 Belarusian, 6 UAE, 6 Slovak, 8 Canadian, 6 Belgian, 5 Serbian, 5 Afghan, 5 Czech, 5 Swiss, 5 Austrian, 6 Romanian, 4 Bahraini, 4 Jordanian, 4 Sri Lankan, 4 Ukrainian, 4 Turkish, 4 Kuwaiti, 4 Bangladeshi, 3 Filipino, 3 Qatari, 3 Mexican, 3 Finnish, 3 Croatian, 2 Nepalese, 2 Lebanese, 2 Yemeni, 2 Kyrgyz, 2 Sudanese, 2 Indian, 2 Cypriot citizens, 2 Slovenian, 2 Swedish, 2 US citizens, as well as 1 citizen each from Australia, Tunisia, Republic of South Africa, Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, and Egypt have been evacuated to Azerbaijan.
After passing all necessary procedures, they safely crossed the border and entered the territory of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the evacuation process is being carried out in accordance with relevant procedural rules and security requirements. All necessary conditions have been created at the border crossing point for the comfortable and safe passage of citizens, and the process continues in stages throughout the day.
