State Traffic Police appeals to road users regarding non-working days

The Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has appealed to road users regarding non-working days.

According to information provided by the Department to “Elchi”, it was noted in the appeal that during the consecutive non-working days due to holidays and weekends, an increase in traffic intensity is expected on highways of national importance, as well as on roads leading to tourism and recreation areas.
Therefore, in order to prevent potential dangers on the roads, the Main State Traffic Police Department calls on road users to be more careful and responsible.

Drivers are requested to:

• Adjust their speed according to road and weather conditions.
• Do not get behind the wheel if they have health problems, or if they are tired or sleepless.
• Maintain a safe following distance and avoid risky overtaking maneuvers.
• Strictly adhere to the requirements of traffic rules.

“Before setting off, pay attention to the technical condition of vehicles. Let’s not forget that a safe journey depends on the responsible behavior of each of us. The Main State Traffic Police Department recommends all drivers to be cautious during their journeys and strictly comply with traffic rules,” it was reported by the State Traffic Police.
