During the phone conversation, the ongoing processes in the region were discussed. The Speakers expressed their serious concerns regarding the baseless attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the territories and civilian populations of both countries, and strongly condemned such actions.
The parties emphasized that both the peoples of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates are proponents of peace and stability, and such attacks targeting civilian populations are unacceptable.

The Speakers noted the importance of refraining from actions that could lead to further escalation of tension, stating that parliaments representing the peoples play a unique role in promoting dialogue and mutual understanding.
During the phone conversation, the importance of respecting the sovereignty of states, adhering to the principles of international law and the UN Charter, as well as strengthening cooperation and solidarity among friendly countries for the preservation of security and stability in the region, was also emphasized.
