Spain urged its citizens to urgently leave Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
“Elchi” reports that this was announced on the “X” account of the Spanish Embassy in Iraq.
The embassy recommended its citizens to leave the region by land via Turkey and Jordan.
“Attacks, in particular, continue in the Kurdistan region. Stay away from military facilities, energy installations, and hotels. The airspace is still closed. Exit from the territory via Turkey and Jordan is recommended,” the appeal states.
