An event was held this year too at Penitentiary Institution No. 4 on the occasion of March 8 – International Women’s Day, jointly organized by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
“Elchi” reports that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population released information about this.
It was stated that within the framework of the event, a meeting was organized for 18 children deprived of parental care, who are residents of the Agency’s children’s home social service institutions, with their mothers in Penitentiary Institution No. 4.
The children presented the gifts and bouquets they had prepared to their mothers, congratulating them on the holiday. Afterwards, examples of poetry, music, and dance were presented by them and were met with great interest.
Entertaining games organized within the program added variety to the meeting and remained as pleasant memories.
The purpose of the event is to create an opportunity for convicted women to spend more time with their family members, to ensure their social rehabilitation, and to prevent recidivism crimes that may be committed by them after their release.
