The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has condemned Iran’s drone attacks on Nakhchivan.
“Elchi” reports that the Serbian MFA issued a statement regarding this.
“The Serbian MFA considers unacceptable the incident that occurred in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which jeopardizes the security of the territory and population. The Republic of Serbia fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, we emphasize that attempts to involve friendly countries in broad regional conflicts or to destabilize border regions, including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, are unacceptable. Serbia is firmly committed to the principles of preserving peace, respecting international law and the UN Charter, as well as strengthening friendly and partnership relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the statement noted.
