Images of the remains of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launched by Iran towards Nakhchivan yesterday have been released.“Elchi” reports, citing Globalinfo.az, that after the release of those images, claims were made in the Azerbaijani and Iranian segments of social networks that the phrase “İstehsalat Birliyi” (Production Association) was allegedly written on the UAV.Some users, based on this, attempted to put forward baseless versions that the drone was of Azerbaijani production. However, an analysis of the released images shows that the phrase “İstehsalat Birliyi” is not on the UAV. The aforementioned writing is on the bags used to remove the remains from the scene. In the subsequent images presented by Baku TV, it is also noteworthy that there are several bags with “İstehsalat Birliyi” written on them at the scene.Furthermore, it has already been confirmed by IRGC (SEPAH) sources that the drone launched towards Nakhchivan yesterday is an Iranian-made “Arash-2” UAV.At such a sensitive moment, it is necessary not to believe and not to disseminate such absurd claims spread on social networks.
