On March 6, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov called Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to information provided to “Elchi” by the MFA, during the phone conversation, the ministers exchanged views on recent events in the region. Expressing concern over military escalation, the importance of refraining from steps that could lead to a further increase in tension was emphasized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Belarusian counterpart about the drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 5.
The ministers also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
