Kazakhstan’s MFA calls on citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to 14 countries

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has recommended Kazakh citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to a number of Middle Eastern countries amid ongoing military-political tension and airspace closures.

“Elchi” citing Kazakhstan’s MFA, reports that citizens are advised to await the cessation of active military operations in the region and the full normalization of the situation.

The MFA emphasized that due to the current situation, Kazakh citizens should refrain from traveling to Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Syria.

The Ministry also called on citizens to carefully monitor official information from state bodies and to take into account the recommendations of Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions abroad.
