A car crashed into an object and burned in Salyan.
According to information provided by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to “Elchi”, the “112” hotline received information about a fire breaking out in an object located on A. Guliyev Street, Salyan city, and in a “CHEVROLET COBALT” brand passenger car belonging to a citizen.
In connection with the information, forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the MES were immediately dispatched to the area.
While assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that a road accident resulting in a fire had occurred when the car lost control and crashed into a non-operating object/facility with a total area of 60 sq.m., located by the roadside.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire was extinguished in a short time without being allowed to spread.
As a result of the fire, the car’s interior, engine, and the roof covering of the object/facility burned over an area of 10 sq.m.
The remaining parts of the car and the object/facility were protected from the fire.
