Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Andrej Babis, has sent a letter to President Ilham Aliyev regarding Iran’s drone attacks on Nakhchivan.
“Elchi” reports that the letter states:
“Dear Mr. President,
I received the news of the drone attack on Nakhchivan on March 5 with great concern. During this attack, civilian objects, including the airport, were hit, drones fell near a school, and several people were injured.
This attack constitutes a gross violation of international law and an unacceptable escalation of violence. This act, which you rightly assessed as a terrorist attack, poses a serious threat to the stability and security of the entire region.
On behalf of the Government of the Czech Republic, I would like to express our strong condemnation of this attack. We express our solidarity with Azerbaijan and support all efforts aimed at ensuring the security of its citizens, as well as maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
