London will send British fighter jets to Qatar amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
“Elchi” reports, citing The Independent, that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated this at a press conference.
“We are sending four additional ‘Typhoon’ fighter jets to join our squadron in Qatar to strengthen our defense operations in this country and throughout the region,” he said.
Also, according to him, the British Royal Navy’s destroyer “HMS Dragon” will depart for Cyprus tomorrow to protect the British Royal Air Force’s Akrotiri base near Limassol.
