Latvian Embassy condemned the drone attack on Azerbaijan.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated on the embassy’s social media account.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Azerbaijan strongly condemns the drone attacks carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which damaged the airport, caused injuries to civilians, and violated the principles of international law. We stand in solidarity with Azerbaijan and reiterate our support for peace and stability in the region,” the embassy stated.
It should be noted that today, drone attacks were carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. One drone hit the terminal building of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Airport, while another drone fell near a school building in Shakarabad village. The airport building was damaged, and 4 people were injured.
