Germany expresses solidarity with Azerbaijan amid Iran’s attacks

Germany expressed its solidarity with Azerbaijan amid Iran’s attacks.

“Elchi” reports that the German Embassy in Azerbaijan released a statement regarding this.

“We strongly condemn the strikes carried out by Iranian drones on Nakhchivan today, as well as any actions that threaten Azerbaijan’s security. We express our solidarity with Azerbaijan and the victims of this incident. We continue to closely monitor the situation and further developments,” the statement said.

It should be recalled that on March 5, Iran attacked objects in the territory of Nakhchivan with unmanned aerial vehicles. One of the drones fell on the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, and the second one near the school building in Shakarabad village. As a result of the attack on the airport, four civilians were injured. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Damirchilou, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Azerbaijan declared that it reserves the right to retaliate.
