According to information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the phone conversation, it was stated that drone attacks from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan caused concern.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information to the other side about the drone attacks. He stated that this attack carried out against the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a violation of the norms and principles of international law and serves to increase tension in the region.
It was emphasized that the Azerbaijani side demands clarification and explanation from Iran regarding the incident in a short period of time, and that necessary urgent measures be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
