US military plans in Iran currently do not include the use of ground forces in that country, but this possibility cannot be ruled out.
“Elchi” reports that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated this at a regular briefing for journalists.
“This is not part of the current plans, but I will not rule out any options on behalf of the President,” she said in response to a question on the matter.
Previously, US leader Donald Trump used the phrase, “ground troops could be sent to Iran if necessary.”
