Information was received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations about a citizen being in a helpless situation in the elevator of a nine-story residential building located in Baku city, Binagadi district.
According to information provided by the Ministry to “Elchi”, rescuers from the Baku Regional Center of the MES were immediately dispatched to the area.
While assessing the operational situation, it was revealed that due to a technical malfunction, the elevator of the nine-story multi-apartment residential building stopped on the fourth floor, and a teenager born in 2012 remained helpless inside the elevator.
Rescuers opened the elevator door with special tools and rescued the helpless teenager.
