President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in our country on March 4 and offered condolences regarding the demise of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and many civilians.
“Elchi” reports that Mujtaba Damirchilu, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to our country, welcomed the head of state.
The Azerbaijani President wrote his heartfelt words in the book of condolences.
Afterwards, the head of state spoke with the ambassador.
President Ilham Aliyev said that he would always remember his meetings with Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei during his visits to Iran with the fondest impressions.
Mujtaba Damirchilu expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani President for coming to the embassy and offering condolences.
