The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a road accident on the section of the Baku-Alat-Gazakh highway passing through Lokbatan settlement, Garadagh district, and citizens being trapped in the car.
The press service of the MES informed “Elchi” about this.
It was reported that rescuers from the Special Risky Rescue Service of the MES were immediately dispatched to the scene in connection with the information.
Upon assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that a road accident occurred as a result of a collision between a “Mercedes Atego” brand truck and a “Shacman” brand truck, and citizens in the “Mercedes Atego” truck sustained various degrees of bodily injuries and remained trapped in the deformed vehicle.
With the help of special rescue tools, rescuers rescued citizens Mammadov Namiq Khalid oglu, born in 1972, and Babashov Emil Ramiz oglu, born in 2000, and handed them over to the emergency medical team.
An investigation is being conducted by relevant agencies in connection with the incident.
