Kazakh National University delegation informed about youth policy in Azerbaijan

A delegation from the “Reforming Youth” Public Union visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty city within the framework of a visit to Kazakhstan.

“Elchi” reports that, in a meeting held with Jansen Tuymebayev, Chairman of the University’s Board – Rector, cooperation issues in the fields of higher education and youth between the two countries were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on the possibilities of student exchange within academic mobility programs, implementation of joint scientific and educational projects, as well as the organization of forums, seminars, summer schools, and internship programs.

Rector Jansen Tuymebayev emphasized that the expansion of international cooperation is one of the priority areas in the university’s activities and stated that strengthening ties among the youth of Turkic world countries holds strategic importance. Recalling his visits to Azerbaijan, the Rector emphasized that the two friendly and brotherly countries cooperate very effectively in all directions.

In his speech, Farid Shahbazli provided detailed information about the state youth and education policy implemented in Azerbaijan and brought to attention the results of programs and reforms implemented in this direction in recent years. He noted that cooperation between Azerbaijani and Kazakh universities, as well as their youth, has great potential and emphasized the importance of developing existing opportunities within a systematic and institutional framework.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on the planned development of mutually beneficial cooperation, the preparation of a concrete action plan, and the formalization of relevant bilateral documents.

The staff of the “Reforming Youth” Public Union also visited the Heydar Aliyev Center at the university and became closely acquainted with its activities.
