The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), operating under the Royal Navy, has reported a new attack against a commercial vessel off the coast of Oman.
According to “Elchi”, the statement reads: “UKMTO has received a report of an incident that occurred two nautical miles north of the coast of Oman while transiting the Strait of Hormuz in an easterly direction. The container ship reported that an unknown projectile struck the vessel slightly above the waterline, resulting in a fire in the engine room.”
