Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed Iran’s recent ballistic missile launch towards Turkey during a phone call.
“Elchi” reported that Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced this on the social network “X”.
“The parties exchanged views on the escalating tensions in the region, expressed serious concerns about the ongoing attacks, including the recent attempted attack against Turkey, and emphasized the need for immediate de-escalation and restraint,” the statement said.
Ishaq Dar affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Turkey and confirmed that the countries are ready to coordinate efforts to maintain regional peace and stability.
