Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commented on the neutralization of a ballistic missile launched from Iran in Turkish airspace.
“Elchi” reports that the Turkish President said this at an iftar dinner with soldiers.
According to him, Turkey is working to take all necessary measures with its NATO allies regarding the aforementioned incident:
“At a time when our region is going through difficult days, we absolutely do not leave things to chance. As in today’s incident, by holding close consultations with our NATO allies, we take all necessary measures and immediately make the necessary intervention.”
It should be recalled that a ballistic missile, launched from Iran and determined to be heading towards Turkish airspace after passing through Iraqi and Syrian airspace, was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense assets in the Eastern Mediterranean.
