Claim of critical phone call in Iran attacks

It is claimed that a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last month played a decisive role in the initiation of attacks against Iran.
“Elchi” reports that, according to officials who spoke to the American news platform Axios, Netanyahu called Trump on February 23 and shared intelligence information that Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and his high-ranking advisors would meet at the same location in Tehran on February 28.
The phone call, previously undisclosed and made from the White House Situation Room, is claimed to have been a turning point at the beginning of the military process against Iran.
During the call, Netanyahu stated that the meeting could be targeted with a single airstrike, and in a preliminary investigation conducted at Trump’s instruction, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) confirmed the information provided by Israeli intelligence. Following the confirmation, it was claimed that Trump concluded the intelligence was reliable, diplomatic options were exhausted, and he gave final approval for the attack on February 27.
US-Israel attacks on Iran
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations between the Tehran and Washington administrations were ongoing.
In response, Iran attacked identified targets in several regional countries, including Israel, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and many high-ranking officials were killed.
The Iranian Red Crescent Society announced that 787 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
