Due to the situation in the Middle East, the safe evacuation of citizens whose flights have been cancelled is being carried out by Azerbaijan from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Baku.
This was reported by “Azerbaijan Airlines” (AZAL) CJSC to elchi.
Thus, a “Boeing 787 Dreamliner” aircraft belonging to AZAL is expected to land at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the coming hours. A total of 209 citizens are being ensured return to the country via the evacuation flight.
Currently, AZAL, as the country’s national air carrier, is carrying out flights safely and according to schedule, in accordance with the procedures determined by the relevant authorities.
It should be noted that evacuation flights from other destinations in the Middle East to Baku are planned for the coming days.
