A media tour was organized to Gazakh district for media representatives within the framework of the “Gazakh Sports Capital – 2026” project.
“Elchi” reports that during the visit organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Gazakh District Executive Power, journalists get closely acquainted with the district’s history, culture, and sports infrastructure.
Media tour participants first visited Samad Vurgun’s House of Poetry located in Yukhari Salahli village, and then laid wreaths in front of the monument to Molla Panah Vagif.
The representatives also visited the Gazakh Martyrs’ Alley and respectfully commemorated the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland.
Within the framework of the visit, journalists visited the Gazakh Center of ADA University, where they received information about the educational opportunities created for young people and the center’s activities.
According to the tour program, a visit was also made to the Gazakh Friday Mosque, the Park of Honorary Gazakh Residents (Park of Thinkers), the Gazakh Literature Museum, and the Gazakh History and Local Lore Museum. It was noted that these places are of great importance in promoting the rich literary and cultural heritage of the district.
Media representatives then inquired about the conditions created at the Gazakh Olympic Sports Complex and were informed about the projects implemented to involve young people in sports.
Within the framework of the visit, the “Karabakh is Azerbaijan!” Monument Complex was also visited. Subsequently, journalists visited Heydar Aliyev Park and Heydar Aliyev Center.
