Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that, contrary to the claims of the US administration, Iran has never posed a threat to the country and that the US entered the war on behalf of Israel.
“Elchi” reports that Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi responded to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statements regarding why his country entered the war with Iran, via the social media account of a US-based X company.
Araqchi said: “Rubio admitted what we all know: The US voluntarily entered the war on behalf of Israel. There has never been a so-called ‘threat’ from Iran. Therefore, the shedding of blood of both the American and Iranian people is the responsibility of those who say ‘Israel first’. The American people deserve better and should take back their country.”
US Secretary of State Rubio, in a statement to journalists after a meeting in Congress, claimed that Iran was an “imminent and unavoidable threat” for both the US and Israel, saying, “This was an imminent threat to us. We knew that if Iran was attacked, they would immediately pursue us.”
