Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants the meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to be held in Ukraine, not in another country.
“Elchi” reports that Zelensky stated this during a meeting with journalists.
Zelensky noted that they had previously agreed on a meeting, and the Slovak Prime Minister “agreed to come to Ukraine.” According to the Ukrainian leader, it is now incomprehensible to him that the Slovak side says they are ready to hold the meeting in another country.
“We had a conversation with Prime Minister Fico, we agreed on a meeting. I invited him to Ukraine, and he agreed to come. Later, I didn’t fully understand the reaction about meeting in another country. I think this is not right. Firstly, the Prime Minister agreed to come to Ukraine, and secondly, the discussion is happening here, the oil pipeline is located here – why should we go somewhere else?” Zelensky said.
