A meeting was held with the Vice President of bp company
During the meeting with bp’s Executive Vice President for Production and Operations, cooperation issues on the agenda were discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Gordon Birrell, bp’s Executive Vice President for Production and Operations.
“Elchi” reports that during the meeting, long-term effective cooperation with the company was emphasized, and bp’s contributions to the development of Azerbaijan’s energy sector were noted.
Information was provided on internationally significant energy projects implemented with Azerbaijan’s initiative and active participation, as well as measures related to the green energy transition, and opportunities for partnership development were highlighted.
The parties reviewed the directions on the agenda for joint activities. Discussions were held on increasing the efficiency of joint projects with the company, common initiatives on green energy, improving work processes in accordance with global industry standards, decarbonization in oil and gas operations, and increasing real value through the application of innovative methods.
