The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted training on “Rules of conduct during emergencies” at the Humanitarian College operating under the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the press service of the MES.
It was stated that the purpose of the event, which was attended by specialists from the MES State Fire Protection, State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue, and Baku Regional Center, was to instill in the college staff the rules of conduct during emergencies, including fires.
In the theoretical part of the training, MES employees provided detailed information on necessary conduct during fires and safety rules at the beach, civil defense, and evacuation measures, video clips were shown, the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment were demonstrated visually, and questions were answered.
In the practical part of the training, after an “Alarm” signal was given regarding a conditional fire on the premises, “initial intervention in the fire” was carried out by the college staff and students, while firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and performed operations such as evacuating “victims from the dangerous area,” conducting rapid reconnaissance at the “fire” site, and “extinguishing the fire.”
After the successful training, the results obtained were discussed, relevant instructions were given, and educational printed materials were presented to the employees responsible for fire safety of the institution.
