Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced that 31 people were killed and 149 were injured in Israeli airstrikes on the capital Beirut and southern regions.
“Elchi” reports that Lebanon’s Ministry of Health stated that 20 people were killed in Beirut’s Dahiyeh region and 11 in the south as a result of Israeli attacks.
The statement also reports that 91 people were injured in Dahiyeh and 58 in the south.
Israel’s attacks on Lebanon
In a statement issued overnight, the Israeli army announced that sirens had sounded in the country’s north after rockets were detected fired from Lebanon.
The Israeli army claimed to have targeted Hezbollah and carried out airstrikes across Lebanon, after which explosions were heard in the capital Beirut.
The Israeli army threatened to attack more than 50 villages and towns in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley, and asked residents to leave their homes.
