France’s statement on ship sent to Eastern Mediterranean

France has stated that reports claiming its flagship “Charles de Gaulle” halted its mission in the Baltic Sea and was sent to the Eastern Mediterranean are false.
“Elchi” reports that France has stated that reports claiming its flagship “Charles de Gaulle” halted its mission in the Baltic Sea and was sent to the Eastern Mediterranean are false.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding the “Charles de Gaulle” on the French Response account, which was created by a US-based company X to combat disinformation on social media platforms.
The statement referred to reports claiming that France’s nuclear-powered aircraft carrier halted its mission in the Baltic Sea and was sent to the Eastern Mediterranean in the context of tensions in the Middle East, and stated that this information was incorrect. France’s BFMTV channel claims that during a period when the US and Israel attacked Iran, and Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in Israel, as well as in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, the Charles de Gaulle and its associated ships halted their missions in the Baltic Sea and were sent to the Eastern Mediterranean.
US-Israel attacks and Iran’s response measures
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28, at a time when negotiations between the Tehran and Washington administrations were ongoing.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in Israel, as well as in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located.
Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and many high-ranking officials were killed in the US-Israel attacks.
The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 201 people lost their lives and 747 people were injured in the bombardments targeting the country.
