US President Donald Trump announced his intention to significantly intensify the military operation against Iran, stating that the biggest wave of strikes would be carried out soon.
“Elchi” reports that the White House chief disclosed this to CNN.
“We are creating chaos among them, and it’s going very well. We will deliver a powerful strike to Iran. The operation is going very well,” Trump said.
He added that the most extensive phase of the operation has not yet begun: “We have not yet started delivering serious strikes. The big wave has not yet begun, but it will start soon.”
Trump also stated that the US is not interested in a long-term conflict in the region.
“I thought this would take four weeks and we are a little ahead of schedule,” he emphasized.
Regarding the journalist’s question about what other assistance the US provides to the Iranian people besides military operations, Trump said that additional support is also being provided:
“Yes, that’s right. But currently, we want everyone to stay home. The street is not safe either. The situation will start to become safer,” he noted.
