A meeting was held with athletes who achieved success in the Azerbaijan Championship held among junior and adult boxers (girls and boys) at the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to information provided to “Elchi” from the Ministry, the head of the club, Colonel Fuzuli Musayev, coach-teachers, and athletes participated in the meeting held at the sports and health club.

It should be noted that in the competition held at the Baku Boxing Center, members of the MES boxing team, consisting of juniors and adults, achieved high results under the leadership of Sports and Health Club coach-teachers Vugar Huseynov and Elshan Isayev. Thus, among junior girls in the 52kg weight category, Alsu Yafarova defeated all her opponents and climbed to the highest step of the podium. Among adults, team member Aykhan Hasanov in the 80kg weight category won the bronze medal of the competition.

The winners were awarded with a diploma and a medal established by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The head of the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel Fuzuli Musayev, congratulated the coach-teachers who participated in the competition and the athletes who achieved success, and wished them success in future competitions.
