The National Hydrometeorological Service informed “Elchi” that the snow depth was 39 cm in Shahbuz, 31 cm in Khinalig, Gryz, 30 cm in Sheki, 29 cm in Zagatala (Alibey), 22 cm in Gusar (Laza), 18 cm in Shahdag, 15 cm in Lerik, 14 cm in Khaltan, 13 cm in Gakh (Saribash), Dashkasan, 10 cm in Ismayilli (Ivanovka), Gabala, 9 cm in Guba, 8 cm in Gadabay, 5 cm in Altiagaj, Yardimli, Oguz, 4 cm in Gobustan, and 2 cm in Shamakhi, Goygol.
The amount of precipitation was 15 mm in Goychay, 12 mm in Balakan, 10 mm in Shahbuz, 8 mm in Tovuz, Shabran, 5 mm in Aghstafa, 4 mm in Mingachevir, Goranboy, 3 mm in Baku and Absheron Peninsula, as well as Shamkir, Kurdamir, Lankaran, Astara, Aghdam, 2 mm in Nakhchivan, Ganja, Tartar, and 1 mm in Jeyranchol, Julfa, Ordubad, Naftalan, Aghsu, Barda, Yevlakh, Sabirabad, Neftchala.
East wind blew, and the maximum wind speed intensified up to 20 m/s in Neftchala, 18 m/s in Naftalan, and 16 m/s in Bilasuvar.
Fog was observed in Dashkasan, Goygol, Balakan, Saribash (Gakh), Sheki, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Gryz, Goychay, and visibility in the fog was limited to 500 meters.
The minimum air temperature was 2 degrees Celsius in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, up to 3 degrees Celsius in the Aran regions, 1 degree Celsius in Nakhchivan AR, and up to 4 degrees Celsius below zero in mountainous regions.
