The Agency for Media Development has addressed journalists regarding military operations in the Middle East.
“Elchi” reports that the appeal notes an observed information flow in media and social networks, against the backdrop of ongoing military operations in the Middle East, which could create confusion in society.
“In a situation where the risks of disinformation are high, we call on all media entities to refer only to information from official sources and not to allow information manipulation.
We urge journalists and public activists to disseminate only official information and to refrain from sharing posts that cause panic in society,” the appeal emphasizes.
