Ordnance was discovered in the territory of Salyan region by employees of the Water Transport Police Department.
According to “Elchi”‘s report, employees of the Absheron Line Police Station discovered an unexploded shell on the bank of the Shirvan water canal while on duty in the area of Khidirli village of Salyan region.
The area around where the ordnance was found was inspected, and no additional dangerous objects or devices were discovered.
The shell was removed from the area with safety measures taken and handed over to the relevant authorities.
An investigation is underway.
